Art Where You Live

about_image01

Kickstart Arts Inc is a Community Cultural Development (CCD) organisation based in Hobart, Tasmania.

We create artistically and socially groundbreaking art with young people and their communities. We invigorate and engage communities through art that moves! We use hybrid art forms - video, audio, performance, dance, theatre, film, song and networked digital media to tell stories about the places that we live in.

Each year Kickstart Arts employs professional artists to work with communities to create a program of exciting projects.

You can view our current program here or look at some of our past projects here.
